Don’t Let Your Business Be A Statistic of Cyber Crime

Every 10 mins a cyber crime is reported to The Australian Cyber Security Centre* and local businesses are not immune.

A Cyber Security workshop, presented by local technology organisation, Cloudwize Technologies, is a key workshop at the 2020 Tamworth Regional Business Summit. The workshop is designed to build awareness of cyber-crime and provide tips and tricks on how to protect your business online.

The Summit, to be held on 17 - 19 March 2020, is an opportunity for businesses in the Tamworth Region to come together to build resilience and shape their business during uncertain times.

Chamber President, Jye Segboer is encouraging all local business owners, operators, staff and start-ups to attend, stressing the importance of planning for future.

 “Our aim for the 2020 Summit is to deliver real solutions to real problems for real people.” Said Mr Segboer.

There are two ticket options:

GOLD PASS – THREE DAYS - $250 (three days for the price of two)

SINGLE DAY - $175

 A GOLD PASS valued at $250 provides unlimited access to all keynote presentations, the “Moving Forward in a drought economy” and  “Growing regional economies” panel discussions and workshops across the three day Summit.

Day passes are also available for $175 per day. 

Morning tea and lunch, plus Summit pack included in ticket price.

2020 Tamworth Regional Business Summit to build business resilience in

uncertain economic times

Following the success of the inaugural 2019 Tamworth Regional Business Summit, the Tamworth
Business Chamber today launched the 2020 Tamworth Regional Business Summit, presented by
Joblink Plus.


The Summit, to be held on 17 - 19 March 2020, is an opportunity for businesses in the Tamworth
Region to come together to build resilience and shape their business during uncertain times.
An additional day has been added to the 2020 program, to allow for greater access to high profile
keynote speakers and panel presenters.


Tamworth Business Chamber President, Jye Segboer said, the 2020 Summit is so much more than a
traditional business event. Stating that the unprecedented drought conditions has changed the way
local business must operate and plan for an uncertain future. “We have sourced high profile,
relevant keynote speakers and presenters for the 2020 Summit. All speakers and presenters are in a
unique position to educate attendees on how to move forward in a drought economy, identify
unique growth opportunities and build resilience during this time.”


The three day Summit will consist of a Local Government panel including representatives from
Mudgee, Albury, Bathurst and Tamworth Regional Councils focusing on “Growing regional
economies” plus of a series of workshops and presentations featuring some of Australia’s most
highly regarded keynote speakers. Speakers include Warren Davies (The Unbreakable Farmer) and
Former Premier of Queensland, The hon. Anna Bligh AC plus others to be announced early 2020.
Warren’s keynote topics are centred on resilience, persistence, determination, leadership and
wellbeing. His authentic, inspiring and sometimes confronting presentations are filled with take
home strategies developed from his business and life journey, that his audience can implement in
their day to day life to overcome challenges or pick themselves up and keep moving forward.
